Four years in NYC at the Levin Institute (SUNY) provided Victor with the experience of working with over 800 managers in transition from large companies to small entrepreneurial startups. He coached and mentored over 200 in their entrepreneurial roles and was featured on the CBS Evening News.
Helene Rude has enjoyed a “Portfolio Career”, during which she has gained expertise in sales, marketing, program management, and business operations. Always known as a “go-to problem solver”, she has enjoyed a variety of roles with one thing in common – they all focused on finding new and innovative ways to delight clients and deliver results.During her tenure at IBM, she worked directly with clients to sell and deliver world class solutions, and then she transferred that client-centric approach to a variety of marketing, business development and operational roles. As an Alliance Manager, she connected the PriceWaterhouseCoopers consulting team to IBM’s more traditional hardware sales teams across the US to drive synergistic sales. As a Marketing Manager she led IBM’s Linux marketing execution in the US. to drive brand awareness for IBM as a leader in the Linux space. Finally, as a Business Development Executive at IBM’s Executive Business Institute she created the team’s strategy and spearheaded a “cross selling” approach for IBM’s premier, strategic business education offerings.Following her tenure at the Executive Business Institute Helene joined the SUNY Levin Institute as Director of Educational Programs where she led their highly successful executive educational programs, JumpStart NYC and Kauffman’s FastTrac. These programs helped to transform New York City into an entrepreneurial powerhouse, while helping more than six hundred professionals find their footing after the economic downturn of 2009.
It was at Levin that Helene was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, and developed a love for the fast paced world of start-ups, and moreover for helping them to get past the launch phase to longevity. Melding her large company experience at IBM, with what she learned about start-ups it became clear to her that there is a lot of work to be done to bring these two worlds together for mutual benefit – and she has a passion for doing so!
Helene holds a B.S. in MIS and Marketing from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
